Writer Yann Martel's best selling novel is "Life of Pi." It is a magical adventure story centering on Pi Patel, the precocious son of a zoo keeper. Dwellers family decides  that they move from  Pondicherry India to Canada hitching a ride on a huge freighter. After a shipwreck, Pi finds himself adrift in the Pacific Ocean on a 26- foot lifeboat with a zebra, a hyena, an orangutan and 450- pound Bengal tiger named Richard Parker,all fighting for survival. Ang Lee's  "life of Pi" is racking -up critical acclaim and preaward  season buzz along with solid box office numbers. Though, for every mention of the film( Life of Pi)'s beautiful 3D or amazing CGI tiger, There is a fuddled viewer confused by the movie's controversial ending.The readers of "Life of Pi" of Yann Martel's original Novel (the ones who made it to the end) have already faced the challenging last minute question presented by the story's writer's, but film goers expecting a fanciful adventure at sea have been understandably caught off guard by the finale. Life of Pi is a 2012 American 3D Adventure drama movie based on Yann Martel's 2001 novel of the same name . Directed by Ang Lee, the movie is based on an adapted screeenplay by David Magee, and stars Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan,Gerard Depardieu, Tabu, and Adil Hussain.The sttoryline revolves around a 16 year old boy named Piscine Molitor "Pi" Patel,  who survives a shpwreck in which his family dies, and is stranded in the Pacific Ocean on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger named Richard parker.The movie had its worldwide premiere as the opening film of the 50th New York film festival at both the Walter Reade Theater and Alice Tully Hall in New York City on September 28,2012.

Life of Pi marketing: 

Due to the film holiday release, Life of Pi's financial success had been under review. Dorothy Pomerantz of Forbes said, It looks like chances are very slim that the film will earn back its production and marketing costs let alone turn a profit. During the marketing campaign for Life of Pi, the film was promoted as the next  Avatar in trailers and TV spots. James Cameron, the director of |Avatar, Later became the subject of two featurettes that focus on the film's 3D and computer generated imagery. In addition, the original novel was re released in a movie tie in edition. this was later followed by the release of the making of Life of Pi; A film, a Journey , a book by Jean-Christophe Castelli that details how Life of Pi was brought to the big screen.

The searchers stumble upon the crashed car and find the two children in the cabin Inthis time, They have become completely like animals, with Victoria physically shielding Lilly in a defensive stance to the intruders. They are put under the care of a psychiatrist, Dr. Dreyfuss. There is a legal dispute over custody of the children  between Lucas and arich aunt on the children's mother's side, while the codurt questions the ability of Lucas and Annabel to raise the childern in a small apartment with little income given their special needs.Dr. Dreyfuss agrees  to recommend Lucas and Annabel as the childrens' legal guardians as long as they agree to move into a special home used to perform case studies, Kowing that he would not be able to monitor their progress if their aunt, who lives on the other side of the country ,were to obtain custody.

* That wa Mama. She didn't get in a hurry when she was telling a story. She began at the beginning, looped lyrically through the middle and always dramatically ended the story. No amount of prodding, fussing or begging would get her to shorten a story.

* I would roll my eyes, heave heavy sighs or throw my arms wildly in the air yet she didn't bat an eye. She kept right on at her leisurely pace. She didn't even get flustered.

* "Mama, just skip all that," I would say from time to time.

 * One afternoon, Rodney stopped by Mama's for something. As he was leaving, she commenced one of her tales. He kept edging out the door. Finally, he made onto the porch and down the steps but she had followed after him, never missing a lick in the telling of the tale. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other.

 * Then, authoritatively, he looked at his watch and took charge.

The movie of Mama (2013) has a dramatic conclusion:

Mama is credible old - fashion horrof, where all that matters is a legit script, smart camerawork, solid acting, and creepu visuals that do not use blood. Surprisingly for a director's bebut, Muschieetti tries his best and impresses as a "Rookie" to horror film making. Well, he did make an impresssive short film after all, even when it is two minutes long.  There is also a possible chance that the imagery of Mama herself will stay in your mind for a while.

Identity Thief is hardly worthy of a review. It's a consistently bad comedy that's entirely dull throughout. Abusiness man (Jason Batman) stupidly gives his personal information to a stranger over thephone, she subsequently steals his identity, ruins his credit and his new job as VP at a new investment firm is put in jeopardy. Seeing how ir can take up to a year to clear his good name, this guy decides to hunt the woman down himself.

Identity Theif her comedu co-starring Jason Bateman, easily ran away with the weekend's No.1 spot as it debuted with a robust 36.6 million Dolour , according to an estimate from distributor Universitypictures.

In "Identity theif," Melissa Mc Carthy stars as a gregarious criminal who steals the creditk card information of a man played by Bateman. Flight is the film  is one of Hitchcock's  finest. It is up to the viewer to decide if he  likes it . This includes performances by actors and actresses. The performer list is below ... "Captain Jack Sparrow (johnny Deep ) moves aboard the ship...."  The main problem here is that Gatins' script completely misses the point of his own story, never remotely touching on  the central theme of flawed hero who has no real moral compass. So drugs are the villain, it has nothing to do with Whip's personal failings. Instead, the script just uses a variety of contrived characters to confront him with his drug problems until he finally cracks under all this pressure.

It also helps that Zemeckis approaches the story with his usual visual skill, catching telling details with tricky camerawok and some jaw-dropping effects. the opening crash sequence is astonishing enough to make you hesitate before getting on a plane, and the film's quiet moments carry just as much  weight. So it's a real shame that the script is so shallow, merely settling for another moralistic tale about the dangers of alcohol and drugs rather.There's nothing wrong with that, but if it had also addressed it more pressing themes, the film could have been much more important.
